Introduction
As part of the Public Charge Point Regulations (PCPR), from 24th November 2024 Charge Point Operators (CPOs) must accurately record and report both reference and availability data for each public charge point within their network, and make this available to the public via their website
- Reference data includes essential details such as location, connector type, payment methods available and pricing
- Availability data indicates the operational status of the charge points, defined as available, charging, or reserved, and must be updated within 30 seconds of any status change
Where to find the ODA links
Fuuse provides two ODA URL links in each client's organisation to enable the CPOs to access this data - Location Data Link and Tariff Data Link. These are found in the Organisation>Open Data Access area of the Fuuse back office:
Note that Fuuse has no obligation to provide ODA data to members of the public - it is up to the CPOs to make this available to their customers via their website (please consult IT department for assistance). When copying the link from Fuuse and pasting the link into a browser, it will display the raw JSON file, which is the expected behaviour.
Location Data Link
Only public charge points will be included in the data supplied by these links, therefore the following settings must be configured to ensure sites and chargers are regarded as public:
- Site must be publicly visible i.e. have "Public Visibility" set to "Enabled" in the main "Edit Charging Site" process:
- Each charger must be set to "EVSE Type - Public" on each individual "Edit EVSE" charger page. Note this means that the Smart Charging options of randomised delays and schedules will not appear:
Tariff Data Link
Only public chargers that have a tariff selected in the Public Connections Tariff box on each individual "Edit EVSE" charger page will be included in the Tariff Data Link:
Note that if a charger has multiple tariffs due to being included in more than one Access Control Profile, only the tariff selected in the Public Connections Tariff box will be used to make up the ODA Tariff Data.
