How to Swap a Charger OCPP ID While Keeping Existing Connector Names

If you are replacing a charger onsite but would like to retain the existing connector names in Fuuse, you can do this by updating the charger serial number/OCPP ID.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the charger in Fuuse.
  2. Select Edit EVSE.
  3. Locate the OCPP / Hardware ID field.
  4. Remove the existing serial number/OCPP ID.
  5. Enter the new charger serial number/OCPP ID.
    • Ignore any spaces or special characters when entering the new ID.
  6. Save the changes.

Important Note

  • If the charger is a dual-socket unit, you will need to repeat this process for the second connector.
  • Please do this BEFORE pointing the new charger to Fuuse.
