Charging cables can occasionally become locked in an Easee charger. The below steps can allow a driver to resolve the issue without needing to contact driver support.
What the driver can do on their end:
Before needing to call driver support, a driver can follow these steps to release a locked cable in an Easee charger:
- Press and hold the pimple-sized button located above the light strip
- At the same time, push the cable up firmly into the socket
- Hold both for three seconds
- The cable should then release
If the driver still cannot release the cable, the next step would be for the CPO to unlock the socket.
