If you need to add a large number of drivers to Fleet 360, you can upload them in bulk using a formatted Excel file rather than adding each driver individually. This article explains how to prepare the file and complete the upload.
Before you start
Make sure Fleet 360 is set up for your organisation and that you have administrator access to the Fuuse platform. Each driver you upload will receive an invitation email from Fuuse, so check that the email addresses in your file are correct before uploading.
Preparing the Excel file
Download the driver upload template from the Fuuse platform.
Drivers sheet
Enter one driver per row starting from row 12:
- Column B: driver full name
- Column C: driver email address
Do not change the column headers or add content above row 12. If you enter an email address that already has a Fuuse account, that driver will not be duplicated but will be linked to your organisation.
Vehicles sheet
If you want to pre-register driver vehicles, enter one vehicle per row starting from row 12:
- Column B: vehicle registration number
The vehicles sheet is optional. Drivers can also add their own vehicle registration after they accept their invitation.
Uploading the file
- Go to the Fleet tab on the Fuuse dashboard.
- Click Actions and select Bulk upload drivers.
- Select your completed Excel file and click Upload.
- Review the preview. Any rows with errors will be highlighted with a description of the issue.
- Correct any errors in your file, re-upload if needed, and confirm the upload.
Drivers who are successfully uploaded will receive an invitation email from Fuuse. They will appear in the Drivers tab with a status of Pending until they complete their own onboarding.
Common upload errors
- Invalid email format - check that the email addresses in column C are formatted correctly
- Missing driver name - every row in the drivers sheet must have a name in column B
- Duplicate vehicle registration - each vehicle registration can only be associated with one driver
If your upload fails entirely rather than showing row-level errors, check that you are using the correct template and that you have not changed the sheet structure. Contact Fuuse support if the issue continues.
