If you receive a "something went wrong" error message when trying to add an RFID card to Fuuse, the card may already exist within your organisation or be assigned elsewhere.
Common Reasons a Card Is Rejected
1- The card already exists in your current organisation
The most common reason for the error message is that it has already been added to the organisation you are currently logged into.
Before attempting to add the card again, navigate to the RFID Cards section and search for the card number. If the card is already present, you do not need to create a new card/readd.
2- The card is marked as Invalid
If the card exists in your organisation but cannot be assigned to a driver, check its status.
An Invalid card cannot be assigned to a driver or vehicle until it has been validated.
To validate an RFID card:
- Go to RFID Cards.
- Search for the card.
- Click the ellipsis menu (three dots) next to the card.
- Select Validate Card.
- Refresh the page and search for the card again.
Once the card has been validated, you can assign it to a driver or vehicle.
How to Assign the Card to a Driver
After validating the card:
- Search for the card in the RFID Cards section.
- Click the ellipsis menu (three dots) and select Edit Card.
- In the Drivers/Vehicles section, search for and select the required driver.
- Click Update Card to save your changes.
Still Having Problems?
If you cannot find the card in your organisation it is likely to be assigned elsewhere. Please the support team with the RFID card number so that they can investigate further.
