Your fleet card powered by Paua works at over 93,000 charge points across more than 52 UK charging networks. This article explains how to use it and what to expect when you charge.
Before you charge
Make sure your card is activated. See How to order and activate your fleet card powered by Paua if you have not done this yet.
Starting a session
- Find a charge point. You can use your organisation's app to locate nearby charge points and check availability.
- Present your fleet card to the charge point reader.
- Wait for authorisation. The charger will confirm when the session has started.
- Plug in your vehicle and begin charging.
Note: depending on the charge point, you may need to plug in before presenting your card.
Ending a session
- Present your fleet card to the charge point reader again.
- Unplug your vehicle.
How payment works
You do not pay anything at the charge point. Your company is billed directly for all public charging sessions through Paua. Sessions appear in your Charging History in the Fuuse app and are labelled Paid by fleet.
Finding charge points
The Fuuse app shows charge points near your current location. You can filter by connector type and availability. The Paua network covers charge points from more than 52 UK charging providers, so access is available across the country.
If a session does not appear in your app
Sessions are usually visible in your Charging History within a few minutes of starting. If a session has not appeared after 24 hours, contact your fleet manager with the date, location, and approximate time of the session.
If your card is declined
If your card is declined at a charge point, check the status in your organisation's app under My Charge Cards. If your card shows as Cancelled, contact your fleet administrator. If your card is Active and still being declined, contact your fleet manager.
